Leidos is seeking an experienced

Project Manager

to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing teams of engineers focused on improving the current DES single service provider (SSP) integrated environment to efficiently scale, deliver, and sustain the DES service offering to the 4th Estate customers, including measurable efforts with implementing automation, strengthening the cyber security posture, pre-positioning the DoDNet environment for scalability, improved performance, reduced redundancies (flattening the network), and increased efficiencies in sustaining the SSP environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the planning, coordination and management of the engineering teams.Coordinate team activities across multiple workstreams to meet contractual milestones.Coordinate with task order project managers to provide updates on status and schedule.Collect, document, prioritize, and communicate requirements from each task order to ensure clarity in tasking across all team members.Reassign tasking to accommodate emerging priorities or address lagging activities.Promote open communication and collaboration across the team, including daily stand-ups, team channels, and fostering an environment of trust and inclusivity.Employ interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, direct, and manage an agile team with technical personnel of all experience levels.Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and coordinate with leadership to implement changes.Escalate blockers and issues that cannot be resolved within the team.Facilitate the professional growth of the team members by providing regular constructive feedback, helping define clear and attainable goals, and pursuing opportunities for advancement.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. (US Citizenship required).Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team.Experience managing IT projects for the DoD or other U.S. Government agencies.Proven ability to execute projects effectively, including management of staffing, schedule, and cost.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and a strong problem-solving mindset.Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.Preferred QualificationsCurrently possesses an active DoD Secret clearance.Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
