Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Traffic EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Provide engineering, design, and production support.Support Project Engineers in development of traffic studies including traffic impact analyses, traffic signal timing plans, microscopic simulation modeling, and macroscopic simulation modeling.Work closely with Project Engineers/Project Managers to prepare PS&E plans including signing and striping, traffic signals, illumination, and traffic control plans for various state and local agencies.Have prior experience in these areas and work in a team environment.Make decisions on design and engineering procedures.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred QualificationsEIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Experience with Highway Capacity Software, Microstation or AutoCAD, ArcGIS, TransCAD, or VISSIM is a plus.Master's degree in Transportation/Traffic engineering discipline preferred.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Ability to multitask while working on many projects at once.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
