SummaryThe Options Specialist is an essential member of the Options Department under Stifel's Investment Products and Services offering. The Specialist will work closely with other department members to deliver sound product knowledge and services to Financial Advisors (FAs) and their clients. The position requires strong qualitative and quantitative skills and a strong knowledge of the equity options markets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilizing data to publish actionable option strategy ideas for FA and client use.Develops marketing plans and distribution strategies for ideas to maximize FA response.Works with advisors to find solutions for specific client needs, including income generation, hedging, and speculation strategies.Collaborates with other departments at the Firm to create and enhance risk measurement tools for more complex client relationships.Reviews T+1 client trades and positions.Provides support and training for option strategies.Qualifications

Solid understanding of the financial services industry.General understanding of option strategies and markets.Solid mathematical skills.Education and Experience

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum Preferred: 3+ years of Options-related experience.Licenses and Credentials

Minimum Required: FINRA Series 7, 66 at time of hire; Series 4 within one year of hire.Systems and Technology
