Job Scope:Responsible for the supervision of the Distribution Department. Responsible for providing order service to International diagnostic customers. Oversees the shipment of materials, including posting, packaging, tracking, and processing of shipping materials and related records maintenance. Supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, IVDD, and CMD/CAS requirements.Key duties and responsibilities:Provides input to management on staff performance including all aspects of the Human Resources requirements and training.Comply with all policies and regulations.Interact with QA, QC, Planner, Purchasing and Customer Service as it relates to DistributionMaintain stock of all necessary materials needed for daily shipments.Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy to facilitate production and planning.Reconcile inventory variances.Leads delivery of final products to shipping and distribution areas after quality release as neededPerform cycle count and/or physical count as needed.Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean materials environment including warehouse and shippingSupervises individuals in direct contact with customers.Provides feedback to International customers regarding order status.Supervises packaging of orders and client lab supplies.Interfaces with Sales and Marketing and manage international and domestics contacts and customer needs.Assumes highest level of customer service and integrity.Provides service between customer and plant, sales administrative and accounting.Creates policies and procedures to provide standard treatment of issues.Issues material(s) to Company personnel.Prepare export documents for clearance of international shipments.Schedule shipments with freight forwarders.Prepare documents for shipment of infectious and hazardous materials or dangerous goods.Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with the company’s quality policies and procedures per the applicable quality management system regulations as defined in the Quality Manual.Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and Company EHS policies. Violations of EHS regulations or policies will be handled in accordance with the established Company disciplinary process.Perform other duties as assigned.Distribution Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Education, Experience, and Qualifications:H.S. Diploma AA degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Materials functions. requiredExcellent communication and record keeping skills.Knowledge of current ERP systems as it relates to materials management.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalentAble to lead and work effectively in a team environmentAble to identify and solve problems / analytical skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance and international currency.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Licenses and CertificationsMust have certification to ship Infectious/Dangerous Goods. preferredStandard Working ConditionsExposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. - OccasionallyOSHA Risk Category: may encounter potential exposure. - OccasionallyWhat We OfferReceive a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 and benefits package as you grow your career at Diasorin.
