Denron Hall is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to execute purchasing strategies, reducing expenses, negotiating deals and managing suppliers. A successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, dependable and most importantly, accountable.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Work in tandem with the estimating department with pricing in the bidding process

Analyze drawings to determine which materials are necessary

Generate pipe, valve, and fitting (PVF) standards for projects by interpreting design and specs.

Obtain quotes from existing supplier base

Process requisitions, obtain pricing, assemble product information, manage deliveries with vendors, create purchase orders, approve invoices, manage back orders and resolve discrepancies

Heavily involved in preparing submittal packages

Make changes and modifications after internal project management reviews

Participate in various project and leadership meetings

Continuously build, foster and maintain a positive rapport with our suppliers and vendors

Ability to lead, support and participate in successful negotiations

Manage the purchasing team with an employee-focused mindset

Handles escalated issues and complex problems in a professional and timely manner

Identify opportunities of cost-savings and process improvements

Furnish other departments with purchasing information as requested

Education & Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

At least 5+ years’ experience in trade-related field

OSHA 10

Detailed knowledge of the plumbing & HVAC trade is ideal

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

Full-time

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday
