joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).HOW A DATA WAREHOUSING PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTResponsible for leading data warehouse team in development and enhancements of the data warehouse user interface.Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.Establishes user requirements.Creates new standards and procedures related to end user and internal interface development.Works with Data Architect on technical issues and system architecture definition.Translates high-level work plans and converts to detailed assignments for team members.Monitors status of assignments, and reviews work for completion/quality.Installs, operates, and maintains network and storage appliancesInstalls patches and performs system updatesManages storage allocation, space, and replication strategiesAnalyzes and resolves problems related to storage systems and network storage solutionsTroubleshoots and restores complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networksRecovers data when requiredProvides recommendations on storage upgrades and supports project integration as requiredConfigures, monitors, and troubleshoots NAS protocols and solutionsCreates and configures volumes, disk shelves, and RAID groupsProvides installation and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems.Designs, develops, implements, tests, debugs, and maintains communications systems.Performs configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems and implements incident response procedures during incidents of a network or host security breach.May provide leadership and direction to a team of specialists for these functions.Reviews customer requirements and makes recommendations for changes to existing technical architecture.Complies with prescribed customer, industry and agency standardsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:

Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10 years of experienceRequired Skillset:

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and supportComprehensive Knowledge of VMware vSphereComprehensive knowledge of IP based storage technologiesComprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and softwareKnowledge of desktop operating systems and applications

Security Clearance Level:

TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractIAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalentRequired Computing Environment (CE) certification: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIP) or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA); NetApp Certified Support Engineer, or Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA), or Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) - Administration of Veritas NetBackup, or Dell EMC Expert - Implementation Engineer, or HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect, or HPE Master ASE - Storage Solutions ArchitectCertifications are subject to change based on contractual requirements
