Join Climate Impact Corps - together, we can address climate change and build healthier, more resilient communities!As a Project Coordinator, you'll serve at a nonprofit organization or public agency that has a mission to preserve and protect our environment. During your service, you'll plan and lead projects that help communities mitigate and adapt to climate change. You'll play a vital role in increasing the reach and effectiveness of site services and addressing community needs.Join our AmeriCorps team and become part of the next generation of climate leaders! Facilitate outreach and education by sharing your experienceSupport projects such as:
Planting and inventorying treesDesigning and managing nursery gravel bedsConducting virtual and on-site solar opportunity assessmentsInstalling energy-saving materialsOrganizing sustainability projects

Anyone can become a Project Coordinator as long as they have a passion to make a difference - and meet the following minimum qualifications.By the time they begin their service, our members are:Dependable and have a history of good attendanceAble to understand and follow instructionsAble to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet searches, data entry, email communication (with attachments), databases and software use, and videoconferencingFluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalentA citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States*Able to successfully complete a
background check*Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve in our programs at this time. DACA applicants may be eligible for Americorps VISTA programs. For more information, click

While you're making a difference, you'll receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks and additional perks! As an AmeriCorps program we have both federally provided benefits and program specific benefits.Federal Benefits include:Up to $7395.00 in Education AwardSegal AmeriCorps Education Award* which can be used to pay tuition or repay qualified student loans. Individuals 55+ at the start of their service term may gift their award to a family member. Click Here for more information.Federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment.Time accrual toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.Program Specific Benefits by hours commitment per week40 Hours$1100 stipend paid every two weeks.Individual health insurance - monthly premium 100% covered.Child care assistance - based on family size and income.25 Hours$650 stipend paid every two weeks.
