Climate Impact Project Coordinators play an important role in advancing local environmental solutions. Join Climate Impact Corps - together, we can address climate change and build healthier, more resilient communities!As a Project Coordinator, you'll serve at a nonprofit organization or public agency that has a mission to preserve and protect our environment. During your service, you'll plan and lead projects that help communities mitigate and adapt to climate change. You'll play a vital role in increasing the reach and effectiveness of site services and addressing community needs.Join our AmeriCorps team and become part of the next generation of climate leaders! Anyone can become a Project Coordinator as long as they have a passion to make a difference - and meet the following minimum qualifications.By the time they begin their service, our members are:Dependable and have a history of good attendanceAble to understand and follow instructionsAble to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet searches, data entry, email communication (with attachments), databases and software use, and videoconferencingFluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalentA citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States*Able to successfully complete a

background check*Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve in our programs at this time. DACA applicants may be eligible for Americorps VISTA programs. For more information, click
