Environmental, Operations and Construction (EOC) operates within HDR's Federal Business Group, capable of delivering services across all HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.

HDR EOC is seeking an Environmental Project Manager who will support our ongoing Federal project workload. Project management experience with the USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC is desired and preferred. The primary duties of this position will be to be project manager for projects from the DOD.

In the role of Senior Project Manager General, we'll count on you to:Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of environmental multi-discipline projects, such as soil, wastewater, groundwater, sediment, and indoor air investigations and restorations.Lead, manage, and coordinate several projects concurrently.Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to-budget and schedule.Lead and manage client relationships and be involved with marketing, business development, proposals, and contract negotiations.Coordinate staffing and workload through the life-cycle of projects from project development to project completion and project closeout.Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager for project reviews.Implement corporate QA/QC procedures.Train personnel as established by strategic plans.Supervise and mentor project staff.Computer skills, excellent written and oral communication.Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred QualificationsA license/certificationOSHA HAZWOPER certificationBachelor's degree in Engineering or GeologyProfessional Engineer or Professional Geologist CertificationPMP certificationMinimum of 10 years' experience in environmental remediation and restoration project managementPrevious experience working and managing environmental remediation projects for government agencies CONUS/OCONUSExperience supporting remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design activitiesMust have the ability to interact with various remediation teamsKnowledge of and experience with Federal (i.e. CERCLA, RCRA, CWA)Experience with emerging contaminantsAbility to travelConsulting experience

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field10 years related experienceA minimum of 5 years of project management experienceFamiliar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak preferred), project management software (Prolog preferred)Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Colorado $132,055 - $188,650.
