We have 3,300 experts in the UK alone; could joining us be your next career move?Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, offering mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams efficiently.We are looking for a Projects Manager to join the team on our Kent County Council project based in West Malling, Kent.The purpose of the role will be to manage and deliver life cycle and capital works projects from inception to completion, including income generation work to time and budget, achieving the required quality.What you'll do:Manage Life Cycle and Capital Project work, including design management, temporary works, estimating, ordering materials and plant, resource planning, and implementing direct or contract labour.Lead the project, facilitating requirement, design review, prestart, progress, and handover meetings.Liaise with the Principal Designer to ensure that the duties of the Principal Designer are undertaken in accordance with the CDM regulations 2015.Work with the Contract team to ensure all quotations are completed and returned within the Project-related KPI and Performance Management System time scales.Pre-plan all works with relevant stakeholders and then liaise with all relevant parties.Provide monthly reports to the Senior Project Manager and Commercial Manager relating to Life Cycle, Capital, and small works projects.What you'll bring to the role:Technically qualified to a minimum of HNC (Building/Mechanical/Electrical) or relevant Degree plus experience in the management of multi-disciplinary projects.H&S qualification e.g., IOSH H&S Managing Safely certification or SMSTS certificate.Must achieve enhanced DBS as required.Experience undertaking multiple projects simultaneously to a value of £2.0M.Equal opportunitiesWe thrive through embracing differences, whether they be social backgrounds, ethnicity, disability, gender identity or expression, age, religion, sexual orientation, and any other protected characteristic – we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
