Hatch IT is partnering with a Counter-UAS solution provider to find a Professional Services Engineer:About the Role:The company is seeking a Professional Services Engineer with relevant experience to join the U.S. tech team. The position will report to the Lead Applications Engineer. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market. This role is primarily focused on directly supporting customers, resolving technical issues, and assisting in technical functions as part of a team.You are a lifelong learner. You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.Push yourself and have fun in a well-supported team environment, with a high degree of autonomy, and competitive remuneration.Responsibilities:Provide customer technical support through phone, email, or in-person communication and thoroughly track these interactions through the JIRA ticketing system.Assist customers in optimizing system performance to deliver the best overall experience possible.Coordinate escalation with internal engineering teams when necessary.Complete customer system installations onsite at customer locations to include physical installation, software configuration, and validation testing.Troubleshoot technical issues involving radio frequency, IP networking, and/or Linux command line.Deliver training courses to customers and partners.Maintain in-depth knowledge of current technology and customer use cases.Support customer technical demonstrations.This role requires up to 50% travel; 25% is typical.Requirements

BS degree in relevant technical discipline and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.Comfortable operating in a Linux environment with a solid fundamental understanding of networking, systems, and software.Experience with networked devices, telecommunications, radio frequency, electronic warfare, or machine learning/artificial intelligence systems.Excellent customer-facing soft skills and ability to deliver in high-pressure, technical environments.You keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and methods to be effective in your role.Previous experience working in the Defence industry is highly favourable. Relevant experience working in industries such as medical, aerospace, or IT are also favourable.
