The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for improving company performance through capturing, developing, sharing and effectively collaborating with the organization’s knowledge assets. This position will utilize various relevant methodologies such as business process management, expert directories, expert systems, and best practices/lessons learned to achieve the goal of improved company performance. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of JE Dunn.Autonomy & Decision Making: Makes most decisions and consults with supervisor as needed.Key Role Responsibilities - Core

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT FAMILY – COREFosters a culture of knowledge sharing and accountability by facilitating business process management (BPM) across the organization.Leads the construction and implementation of a dynamic process repository (ProMapp) and employ the process ownership model to keep and advance the system.Works with IT to maintain and continuously improve the integration between ProMapp and Connect/SharePoint.Collects and analyzes data on projects and process metrics to systematically identify improvement opportunities.Facilitates a process owner-lead team through rapid improvement events using value stream mapping and/or metrics based process mapping techniques.Conducts project visits and communicates with project team members to extract knowledge for company use.Collaborates with project teams to leverage and reuse knowledge sources for new project pursuits, execution, and training.Develops white papers, case studies, and reports on project best practices/lessons learned, industry trends, new management techniques, and delivery models. Works with Corporate Communications to deliver content both internally and externally through industry publications, social media, the JE Dunn website and portal, etc.Performs periodic knowledge gap analysis based on ongoing company project portfolio.Conducts research on competitors, industry reports, social media, academic content, conference materials, etc. to continuously evaluate how JE Dunn compares. Reports findings to senior leadership and calibrates the KM (Knowledge Management) efforts accordingly.Leads the development and conservation of a professional skills inventory. Works with IT to create the most efficient means for storing and sharing this knowledge. Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant knowledge is captured.Further develops means for measuring success of KM and report findings to company leadership.Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.Communication skills, verbal and written.Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.Organizational skills.Ability to lead a transformative group in new concepts and ideas to improve the organization (ability to capture hearts and minds).Ability to conduct effective presentations and training.Ability to facilitate meetings and build consensus.Proficiency with Skype for Business.Proficiency with ProMapp (after training).Thorough knowledge of organizational processes, functional departments, and how company success is achieved.Knowledge of most types of construction projects and delivery methods (Advanced).Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy (Intermediate).Ability to apply process improvement methodologies.Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business management, or related field (Required).In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.Experience

5+ years’ experience in Construction or Business Operations (Required).Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.May require periods of travel.Normal office environment.Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder.Benefits Information
