to support the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program, which is within the Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.WORK LOCATION:

Full-Time; salariedRESPONSIBILITIES:Support the Program Manager (PM)/Materiel Lead (ML) with contract activities, including identifying, capturing and tracking requirements and assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of actionSupport Integrated Product Team(s) (IPT) leadership with senior level acquisition and program management advice and counselSupport the development and review of draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, collaborate with a diverse group of functions to review proposalsSupport technical evaluations and fact-finding efforts and subsequently, assist program lead on contract managementPerform program execution duties that include development and update of PEO weekly activity reports, corps reports, production corps program status reportsDevelop, review, and submit division and program office staff briefing chartsDevelop, review, update program status briefings for the PM for PEO level meetingsDevelop, maintain program reporting and management of program critical events utilizing Lifecycle Management Process IDE, SharePoint, enterprise tracking toolsMonitor, manage, and respond to USAF command, directorate, division and program taskersProvide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)Support program management reviews, meeting reviews and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) reviews, and integrate inputs for the monthly Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) assessmentsSupport BACN operations by monitoring relevant classified email, facilitating BACN operations meetings, maintaining operations status databaseQUALIFICATIONS:Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101Knowledge and experience of the roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force acquisition stakeholder community and acquisition organizationsKnowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programsAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ProjectAdvanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience (5 years DoD), or BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 20 years of directly related experience (8 years DoD)Must be a US citizenMUST have an active US security clearanceWhat We OfferCompetitive salariesContinuing education assistanceProfessional development allotmentMultiple healthcare benefits packages401K with employer matchingPaid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday scheduleWho We AreAt Astrion, we innovate, elevate, and shape the world of tomorrow.
