Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy for HR and IT services that aligns with company objectives. Continuously monitor market trends, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and containment within the responsible category while maintaining quality standards. Lead cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.Facilitate the process of developing, implementing, and managing contracts for a wide range of agreements.Demonstrate understanding of typical or more routine RFX processes, efficiently manage multiple transactional stakeholder needs and supplier details.Independently develop transactional or routine specifications with stakeholders or assist with complex specifications with guidance from more senior resources.Support benchmarking of suppliers for price and processes and present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.Understand the principles, tools, and techniques of basic negotiation; support preparations for larger or more complex projects.Keep internal stakeholders well informed of progress in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting processes.Check in regularly with internal stakeholders to determine their level of satisfaction with a given procurement service or process, as well as suppliers; suggest alternative ways of resolving any issues.Under guidance, draft or propose constructive feedback to suppliers based on analysis of results.Understand the application and implications of contract law and compliance requirements; know standard terms and conditions and how to apply them to transactional agreements.Know when to seek advice or escalate procurement issues.Continuously align tasks with area and stakeholder priorities.Participate in external procurement councils.Form and broker partnerships with suppliers based on mutual business value principles: compatibility of interests, mutual need, openness, and trust.Participate/assist in Supplier reviews.Skill Requirements:The successful candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise:Demonstrated strong experience in negotiating, contracting, and working with suppliers across multiple categories.Exceptional analytical, conflict resolution, change management, project management, and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing and persuasion.Leadership experience and presence to interact with senior leaders.Strong expertise in RFx process and understanding of procurement processes.Strong client service orientation and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Self-starter and strategic mindset.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related work experience. Master's degree a plus.5+ years relevant work experience.
