The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dedicated to the needs of his or her clients, and willing to learn and execute a proven system for delivering college planning.Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Delivering effective meetings with students to educate and empower them on how to navigate the college process using the Class 101 curriculumEncouraging, motivating, and keeping students on track as they progress through the college admissions processServing as an instructor for group prep classes, delivered using Class 101’s curriculumGaining expertise in all Class 101 curricula and our approach to helping students and families including:Identifying student goals for college and careerUnderstanding family college budget requirementsCounseling students and families to identify resources for scholarships and financial aidProviding expertise for developing college listsProviding regular meeting summariesServing as a reliable, knowledge source for students and familiesMaintaining and growing knowledge of colleges most reviewed by students in your areaMeeting deadlines for submitting applicationsDeveloping and interpreting summary reports on students’ progress on standardized testsGuiding students through the essay writing process to create and refine main, supplemental, honors, and scholarship essaysSkills and Requirements:

Ability to work a flexible scheduleExcellent relationship building skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to learn and execute a proven systemAbility to meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsOther Information:
