We are currently searching for an experienced Project Manager for a GC/CM client based in Baltimore, MD. Our client is looking for team-oriented, community-minded, and ethical professionals who have an ownership mentality. This is a direct hire position with full benefits.The ideal candidate has 5 - 10 years of experience building projects between $10M - $40M and must have ground-up experience. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring projects are on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest standards of safety and quality.Construction Services

Provides comprehensive construction services as required by Owner Agreements to include providing excellent customer service and satisfaction; manages the clients' expectations for optimal success.Ensures project controls are executed consistently and professionally, including accurately tracking project budgets and preparing forecasts; prepares and maintains project schedule; reviews and tracks submittals or delegates to a project engineer providing oversight to the project engineer to ensure proper completion, and manages project close-out.May manage 1 large project or multiple smaller projects.Preconstruction / Estimating Services

Leads comprehensive preconstruction efforts including cost estimates and studies, value engineering, scheduling, constructability reviews, site logistics planning, cash flow projections, and attends design progress meetings.Leads comprehensive competitive bid efforts through submission to Owner.Other

Maintains awareness of and complies with P-C's Safety Program and Policies; ensures staff assigned to the projects observe all safety standards.Participates in new business development activities to include outreach to peer groups, owners, architects, and engineers; follows up with current clients to solicit satisfaction with the team; attends networking events, pre-bid meetings, etc.; participates in writing proposals as well as GC's and fee price proposals.Maintains awareness of industry trends, applies knowledge, and identifies opportunities for process improvement; participates in an industry-related organization or events.Networks with clients, architects, and others to create and follow up on potential business leads and maintain existing client relationships.Essential Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager. Should have experience as the lead project manager on GC or CM projects.Ability to manage projects $5M - $25M, with interest in gaining experience building larger work.Experience with Procore and P6 preferred.Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with business partners.Strong communication skills.Relationship orientation.Client service focused.Able to motivate and lead teams.Highly accountable.Self-motivated, driven to succeed.If you are interested in hearing more about this position, please reach out to Sarah at sowen@csrecruiting.com.
