As a Quality Inspector, you will:Inspect finished products, components, or materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Conduct visual inspections of products to identify defects.Use various tools and equipment to measure and test product quality.Document inspection results and communicate them to appropriate personnel.Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.Skills and Competencies
Detail-oriented and able to identify and report on any non-conformances or defects.Able to operate inspection equipment.Able to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Strong written communication skills; able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings.Effective at priority setting; can quickly zero in on critical tasks and eliminate roadblocks.Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
