This position is responsible for the maintenance and oversight across the entire Peacock Properties Portfolio. It requires proficient use of hand and power tools, along with light carpentry and painting skills. A certain degree of knowledge pertaining to condominium buildings, building systems, and residential and commercial construction is necessary.

Primary Duties:

Ensure all work sites from interior common areas to exterior grounds are left clean and safe after completion of assignments.

Keep a clean and organized work vehicle.

Alert management when vehicle maintenance is needed and facilitate the maintenance.

Maintain van inventory (tools and materials).

Purchase materials necessary to complete maintenance items and submit work orders daily.

Accurately track billable hours onsite and add them into work orders.

Perform minor and routine maintenance activities including but not limited to painting, cleaning, carpentry, handyman tasks, light plumbing, and electrical work.

Oversee contracted projects in common areas to verify adherence to specifications as needed.

Make recommendations for supplies, materials, and equipment needed on a property.

Assist the Board of Trustees and relevant staff in maintaining the physical condition of the building.

Perform minor repairs in individual units on an emergency basis only.

Prepare and maintain a variety of maintenance logs.

Respond to certain emergency situations as needed.

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Work in a team-driven environment.

Be deadline and detail-oriented.

Physically handle workload with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Professional Expectations:

Working presence Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day.

Maintain solid working relationships with management and property staff.

Maintain professional relationships with clients, the community, and the profession.

Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and professionals servicing the property.

Education:

High School or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Driver's License.

OSHA (preferred but not required).
