TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.Reporting to the VP Strategy and Product Management of ICT, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for product revenue, standard cost, driving growth (+35% CAGR), and OI as well as product portfolio management, resource allocation, and product definition with key applications for the Data Connectivity product line (~$16M annual revenue, with an expected growth to ~$100M in 5 years).The drivers to successfully getting the business to the next phase of growth include:Gaining market share with ethernet, camera, antenna, radar and lidar related interconnect solutions across Agriculture, Construction and On-highway markets.Growing a differentiated portfolio with strong value proposition.Influencing cross-functional teams to scale new product portfolios profitability, driving operational efficiency and optimization of global manufacturing footprints.Developing strong relationships with key accounts and aligning with other product lines and BUs to create cross-selling synergies.Building out product roadmaps in technically complex market environments, aligning with key accounts and creating differentiation in target applications.Assessing and articulating opportunities with new technological trends ensuring long-term continuous pipeline growth and enabling sales force to capture and secure new opportunities.Building a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging best practice processes and metrics to drive year-over-year improvements in key project management metrics.Responsibilities

Understanding macroeconomic, market trends, competition, and disruptor technologies that will impact the business. Anticipating actions to evolve and adapt the business model to the external environment.Managing strategic choices to ensure organic growth and profitability objectives are being met. This includes driving strategy to grow above market and developing a clear strategic plan, influencing and supporting multiple functional organizations in execution of the plan.Developing mid to long-term product strategy & roadmaps, including technology platform strategy aligned to target applications and manufacturing footprint.Developing go-to-market strategy for key accounts and fragmented parts of the business.Identifying gaps in the organization's structure and core competencies and building up plans to bridge the gaps and ensure scaling the organization to very fast revenue growth.Execution

Translating product group strategy and roadmap into tactical plans and driving execution to achieve business objectives, including revenue, market share gain, gross margin, and OI.Keeping close contact with strategic customers, market mega-trends, industry standards, to understand and influence technology trends and requirements to form product roadmap and drive competitive advantage.Maintaining a strong new product and opportunity pipeline, driving accountability across functions to ensure on-time execution that secures revenue growth through market cycles.Generating technology platform concepts with engineering to build a solid product foundation addressing future market trends.In partnership with Global Sales and Marketing, influencing go-to-market strategy and enhancing technical competency of the Sales and distribution channel; growing share with key customers and fully leveraging distribution partners.Enabling digital transformation and increasing sales via digital platforms.Creating differentiation with product development, including advanced technology development; addressing supply chain priorities for the product lines, including lead time and localization.Promoting a culture that reflects TE Connectivity’s values. Setting strength goals creating outstanding performance, promoting an inclusive environment and strengthening global team spirit within and across other business units.Rewarding productivity as part of an ongoing process to establish TE as an employer of choice.What your background should look like:

Required:Minimum 7 years’ experience combining several experiences, with at least 4 years in Product Management, in Industry (Sensors, Semiconductor, Electrical / Mechanical Components & Systems).Minimum of 4 year technical or business degree required with a preference for advanced degree (MS, MBA).Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive global market share gains, including sales, marketing, and technical teams with significant customer exposure at senior executive level in a fast-paced and changing environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines.Experience leading global cross-business teams in a matrixed environment; demonstrable success in creating a global strategy and driving implementation.Demonstrated strong leadership skills in leading large teams, including experience building and leading highly motivated teams.Experience in automotive and/or industrial and commercial transportation markets.Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets.Demonstrated experience successfully scaling newly launched product portfolios.Clear, strategic thinker with vision and the ability to execute on priorities.Demonstrated commercial / entrepreneurial / strategic / innovative mindset.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions.Managing and Measuring Work

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $150,000 – $187,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location).Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.BENEFITS
