Manager Project Supply Chain II , are to:Lead and be accountable for the planning, evaluation, and implementation of product launches, major product reformulations, major qualifications, and international projects;Develop detailed project timelines ensuring cross-functional and third party input is captured and projects are delivered on time and on budget;Identify risks and contingencies and communicate progress to key stakeholders;Provide status updates on projects on an agreed schedule and share key updates and actions via meeting agendas and meeting minutes;Identify issues and risks and develop mitigation plans with the cross-functional team to resolve project setbacks and obstacles;Organize project teams utilizing cross-functional resources;Obtain agreement from line management and country representatives on team resource, expectations, and performance for team members;Manage project team meetings, prepare agendas, schedule meetings, and issue minutes and action items;Determine and complete the scope and timing of the project through team efforts;Identify root causes and corrective actions for project deviations, including facilitating problem resolution between initiators and implementation teams;Provide updates on progress to goals to site management for all projects;WHO YOU AREYour success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degreePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business preferred) with 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management along with at least 3 years of experience in project management preferred, or an Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management along with at least 5 years of experience in project management;APICS (Association for Operations Management) certification.Experience using Microsoft Project.Team leadership and facilitation skills.Decision-making skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong skills in negotiation, influencing, problem solving, decision making, and analytics.Sense of urgency, drive to meet deadlines.Process orientation.Understanding of Brand, Customer Marketing, Product Supply, Packaging Services, and Logistics functions;Excellent computer skills - experience with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.Project Management Professional certification preferred.When the incumbent meets eligibility requirements (per PMI (Project Management Institute), it is preferred that the incumbent obtain the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
