Now is the perfect time to take your career to the next level.What You'll Do:Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.Assist in the development of project specifications.Responsible for development of discipline specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports, designs, and plans.Aids in the coordination and productivity of project team members.Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members.Works closely with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projects.Performs quality control reviews of discipline-specific engineering project elements/deliverables.Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience, orMaster’s degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience, orPhD in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience.Primary focus areas of expertise will include:Roadway Drainage DesignVertical and horizontal alignmentsTraffic engineeringMaintenance and Protection of Traffic DesignFollow and achieve project scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with our quality procedures.Preferred Skills & Experience:BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering / EIT Certification is required.Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation, highway, and roadway design.Proficient in Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.Experience with common industry hydraulics/hydrology software.Experience working with CTDOT Hydraulics and Drainage a plus.Additional InformationVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.The approximate pay range for Connecticut is $87,291.69 - $148,945.26. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
