A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will be primarily responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, front of house areas, and back of house areas. A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems, requiring some skills in these areas as well as good communication and multitasking skills.Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. Minimum 3-5 years building/hotel maintenance experience is preferred.Good customer service and troubleshooting skills are preferred.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and comprehend programs related to preventive maintenance, TV systems, lock systems, HVAC systems, etc.Past BOC 1 training is a preferred knowledge.
