Our employees are our greatest asset, and although we present a comprehensive equipment offering, our expertise and service are what truly distinguish us from the competition.We pride ourselves on investing in our workforce and offer competitive benefits, as well as extensive on-the-job training for all eligible employees.Job Description SummaryPosition Objective:The Regional Sales Manager coaches and develops sales representatives in order to drive revenue within the region, including the design and delivery of sales training, sales rep ride-a-longs and follow up, as well as the management of specific assigned accounts or initiatives.Position Responsibilities:Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controlsMeet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the regionSet individual sales targets with the sales teamTrack sales goals and report results to the appropriate stakeholdersOversee the activities and performance of the sales teamCoordinate with marketing on lead generationMonitor competition relevant to area of responsibility for new opportunities or trends in the market, develop action plans for growth or change in response to these trendsImplement Sales Training Programs for all Outside Sales Representatives and reinforce the training through branch visits and Sales Rep ride-a-longsMotivate, coach and mentor the sales teamManage and develop specific key or assigned accounts within the regionPromote organization and productsManage specific projects on an as needed basis to drive revenue and maximize return on investmentIdentify and develop opportunities with specific customers or market segments within the region to drive revenue and maximize return on investmentDevelop sales presentations and coach OSRs on effective presentation skillsTravel to various job sites to conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and meet with our customer baseComply with all company safety requirements and train the Outside Sales Representatives on safety proceduresPerform other duties as requestedRequirements:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience plus at least 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years leading a sales teamExperience in customer relationship managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDedication to providing great customer serviceMaintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workersMust cultivate curiosity and seek to improve their knowledgeJoin Our Team!Sunbelt Rentals offers generous benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellbeing, and a retirement plan with employer matching contributions in accordance with Sunbelt’s plans, policies, and applicable agreements (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).Sunbelt Rentals supports service members.
