We are currently recruiting for a Sand and Gravel Plant Manager to oversee a multi-shift, 24/6 construction aggregates operation in the Greater Las Vegas area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead by example to ensure a safe and fully compliant mine site.

Communicate with the team to meet production demands in a timely manner.

Supervise employees performing day-to-day mining and plant operations, as well as mobile equipment maintenance.

Schedule, assign, plan, and monitor the work of crews to ensure completion of the tasks in a timely and quality manner.

Manage mobile equipment expenses and operational expectations.

Coordinate outside vendor activities.

Manage and foster outside vendor relationships.

Complete operational summaries, timekeeping, and production reports as needed.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise plant operations to meet production needs.

Manage any urgent or breakdown jobs as required to keep equipment running and minimize downtime.

Provide technical assistance in maintenance of equipment.

Ensure all mining and mobile equipment activities are compliant.

Ensure site operates safely, efficiently, and successfully.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Driver's License.

High school degree or GED required.

Familiar with MSHA/OSHA regulations, quarry processing equipment (i.e. crushers, belt conveyors), and general maintenance of equipment.

Minimum of 5 years working in mining/quarry operations with managerial and front-line supervisory experience.

Willing to travel periodically.

Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
