PositionWe require an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance activities. This position is responsible for preventive and corrective (break/fix) maintenance throughout our facility. Specific responsibilities include:Provide scheduled maintenance and repairs on:Building systems including mechanical (replace filters, belts, motors), plumbing, electrical and compressed air.Production equipment, including CNC machining and turning centers, manual machines, power tools, etc. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.Process equipment including steam boiler, parts washers, plating equipment (ultrasonic cleaners, rectifiers, pumps and valves), powder coating equipment (ovens, conveyors, etc.) and material handling equipment.Troubleshoot plant equipment when breakdowns occur. Coordinate repairs with outside vendors as required.Install 120V conduit and outlets, low voltage wiring, compressed air and water lines.Create work orders and parts requisitions. Maintain records in computerized maintenance system.Skills and CompetenciesComfortable using hand and power tools.Familiarity with building automation systems.Knowledge of safe work practices (LOTO, machine guarding, etc.) and able to exercise situational awareness.QualificationsWe are looking for a hands-on professional with attention to detail and the ability to think through problems and implement solutions. You must have:Associates degree or trade school certifications in relevant areas.3 – 5 years of related experience.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.Ability to read and understand IO&M instructions, parts lists and prints.Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.Good verbal and written communication skills.Able to handle the physical demands of the job.Valid driver’s license with good driving history.Pay and Benefits$30 - $40/hour, depending on skill and experience.Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance plan.Optional dental and vision coverage.Disability and life insurance.401k plan with company contribution and 50% match.(10) paid holidays, (10) paid time off (PTO) days and (5) paid sick leave (PSL) days a year.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to our customers, employees and the community in which we live.
