In this highly visible role, the Senior Supplier Quality Manager (AZ – Sustaining Operations) recruits, develops, mentors, and leads a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Leaders responsible for assuring the highest quality standards for our products. This role serves as the key internal interface with Production, Manufacturing, Logistics, Material Planning, Supply Chain, and suppliers to develop methods for industrializing challenging designs without sacrificing quality.You must guide upfront design development and collaborate with suppliers to create new manufacturing methods and control strategies to achieve ambitious specifications and ensure flawless execution during launch.Candidates must have strong experience managing global suppliers, direct supplier activities at the management level, and consistently contribute positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and sometimes unpredictable environment.This is an on-site role in Casa Grande, AZ.You Will:

Have total ownership of Sustaining supplier quality activities at Lucid Motors Manufacturing Plants in Arizona, USA.Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Leaders that will protect Lucid Motors Manufacturing Plants from any supplier quality-related issues on a 24/7 basis.Establish and manage priorities and project assignments for all team members including their 1:1 and 365 performance management and annual reviews.Cultivate strong partnerships with local suppliers, ensuring their understanding of and commitment to meeting our rigorous quality expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams of Production, Plant Manufacturing, Plant Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Materials Planning, to resolve supplier-related quality issues, conducting comprehensive root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Create and implement Sustainable supplier quality departmental processes that are aligned with corporate supplier quality processes to build a world-class Supply Chain organization.Perform supplier audits and on-site inspections. Develop process improvement plans and drive implementation. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance for both Advance and Sustaining activities.Lead daily, and weekly leadership and departmental meetings to track progress, monitor KPIs-OKRs, and drive actions for compliance and ongoing improvements.Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting supplier quality performance, KPIs-OKRs, risks, and strategies for improvement.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact supplier quality.Have the ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short-term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on short notice.You Bring:

8+ years of experience in an Automotive, Electronics, or high-volume manufacturing business.6+ years of experience as a team leader.Team development and demonstrated leadership in quality or manufacturing organizations.Strong written and verbal skills and organizational and program management capabilities.Hands-on supplier industrialization, supplier quality toolbox (ISO, IATF, DFM, GD&T), and automotive core pillars (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) experience.Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and have in-depth knowledge of quality standards and placement specifications.Certification preferred – Project Management, Lead Auditor, American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on and data-driven, creative mindset in problem-solving.Positive attitude, willingness to learn, be part of the solution, and be able to adapt to the dynamic working environment.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Smartsheet, JMP, Minitab, JIRA, and Tableau is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.Advanced Technical Degree (e.g., Master of Science) preferred.At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
