At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Sales and Marketing Teams are responsible for the sales and marketing of TE's products, systems or services including sales oriented activities, market development and communications.Role DefinitionThe Senior Global Account Manager facilitates the strategic planning process for CRO sales and defines a strategy that meets the organization's pipeline growth objectives by strengthening customer relationships. This role will help define strategy and direct a large operation of a sales function for diverse markets.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, managing, and guiding sales activities for a specific market, product, or strategy, overseeing employees while monitoring progress against individual goals.Setting long-term and short-term sales targets, making and optimizing sales tactics and plans.Keeping abreast with the industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to develop strategies that keep the company ahead of the competition.Collaborating with the leadership and other internal stakeholders in designing and proposing policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products or services.Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closure, meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.Build and maintain strategic partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with clients and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and explore partnership opportunities.Represent TE IVD Solutions at industry conferences and events, showcasing our offerings and expertise.Maintain accurate records using Sales Force and ensure client satisfaction through dedicated relationship management.Lead business development efforts: Develop a strategic plan to manage and grow a database of prospects and activities.Conduct market research and competitive analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.Prepare and present proposals: Develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs and requirements of potential clients.Track and report on business development activities: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, monitor progress against targets, and generate regular reports to senior management.Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing.Employ strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to propose and implement risk mitigations.Perform all other duties that may be requested or assigned.What your background should look like:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field with 12+ years’ related experience in business development or sales within the clinical research industry.Must have strong knowledge of clinical research processes and industry trends.ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
