The Foundation

Team Member Support Specialist

will work directly with team member services, corporate management, and resort management at all Westgate properties to guide and assist Westgate Team Members as they experience unforeseen emergencies. Guidance will include, but not be limited to, referrals to community nonprofit partners, grant applications to the David’s Dollars Team Member Crisis Fund, and preventative education.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIntake and evaluation of Team Member grant requests from the David’s Dollars Team Member Crisis Fund

Work directly with TMS to obtain all necessary documentationMake recommendations about financial assistance for Team MembersFollow through with the approval or denial process, including counseling Team Members on additional resources, check requests, booking emergency travel, etc.

Maintain all tracking and reporting of requests, grants, referrals, and denials.Manage loans given by David’s Dollars Team Member Crisis Fund to assist Team Members in lieu of grants.Create and maintain David’s Dollars Team Member Crisis Fund operation manual and community resource list, in partnership with the Foundation Manager and local Foundation Ambassadors. Will include guidelines/restrictions for emergency assistance from Westgate, as well as focus area and intake process for each community partner listed.Initial and ongoing training of TMS representatives on community resources available to Westgate Team Members, both nationally and locally in each resort market.Assist with the Foundation’s annual companywide Team Member giving campaign. Identify and train Team Members who received community resource assistance and/or David’s Dollars Team Member Crisis Fund grants to share their stories with their fellow Team Members at campaign meetings.Assist with the Foundation’s annual school supply and holiday toy distribution to Westgate Team Members, as needed.Assist with our annual Military Weekend event.Coordinate with resorts and corporate office for all in-kind donation items to local non-profits.Assist with other department events and projects, as needed.Qualifications

Education and Experience:A Bachelor's Degree in Business is preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Strong problem-solving, organization, critical thinking, and time management skills.Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with attention to detail and quality.Exceptional listening skills.Very organized with an ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment to help maintain all project information and documentation.Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work with team members.Bilingual with full proficiency in Spanish a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Information
