Senior Project Manager (Transportation) . As our Senior Project Manager (Transportation), you will be responsible for the technical design and management of transportation design projects with Florida Department of Transportation and municipal clients.You’ll grow professionally with us as we rise together on impactful projects with a high degree of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design and construction services. You’ll be leading multidiscipline planning and design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. Your relationships with our clients and communities in the South will support our growth with key and strategic pursuits of traditional planning and design projects as well as alternative delivery opportunities.Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. degree in related engineering or applicable disciplineProgressively responsible Project Management experience with transportation projects and consultingStrong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectationsAttributes that include excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approachFlorida Professional Engineer PE license and ability to serve as Engineer of RecordPrevious experience with design of roadway/highway facilities and management of similar projectsMust be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess written and oral communication skillsMust be able to lead a design team developing construction plans for roadway/highway facilitiesWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local design guidelines including the FDOT Florida Design Manual (FDM) and Standard PlansIdeally, you’ll also have:
Relationships with clients and/or teaming partners in the West Central Florida area including, FDOT District’s One and/or Seven and local municipalitiesLimited access, toll road, and interchange design experienceExperience designing or managing design build projectsIf you’re up for the challenge, we’ve been looking for someone just like you.
