Our solutions are robust, secure, and provide excellent physician-patient experiences to maximize care and minimize response time, and ensure the right doctor makes the right treatment decision every time.Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Inspector performs QA and/or QC inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, in-process product or finished products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements. Accurately document the results of inspections and measurements. Work with Production and Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement of inspection methods & processes. Perform review of Device History Records (DHRs) and other documentation for compliance to establish procedures, Good Documentation Practices, and to comply with regulatory requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and processing.Read, comprehend and follow documents outlining all procedures related to manufacturing, inspection and quality systems.Ensure routine compliance with process steps and proper documentation of records.Identify non-conformances, deviations, non-compliance, lack of calibration etc. and propose corrective actions to management.Collect data for process, quality system, manufacturing quality and performance metrics and generate reports for management review.Approve in-process production by confirming product meets specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.Approve finished products by confirming product meets specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests.Document inspection results by completing required documentation; inputting data into quality database as required.Ensure priorities are aligned with Purchasing and Production requests, as well as QA Managers plans.Participate in MRB activities as required.Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.Write inspection plans as required.Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year in related quality assurance acceptance activities. Previous medical device experience desirable.High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical discipline or vocational training.Skilled in basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).Basic understanding of inspection processes.Individual must be Quality oriented.In office position out of Goleta, California (Monday - Friday)Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience of working in medical device/regulated manufacturing is highly preferred.Excellent communication skills.Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.Self-starter with ability to prioritize work day/projects independently.Professional, responsible, energetic and accountable.Intellectually curious and eager to learn.A genuine belief in continuous improvement and disciplined processes.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Previous experience in reading & interpreting specifications and dimensional requirements; understanding of GD & T desirable.Proven skill in operating all test and inspection equipment used in Quality Control preferred.Previous experience in using basic mechanical & electrical inspection tools.Effective use of computer systems and job related applications software.The base salary range for this position is

$27/hr.

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
