A Maintenance Mechanic III job in Paterson, Washington is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This position is located at our Columbia Crest Winery. In this role, you will be responsible for regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide variety of machinery and equipment in support of the winemaking process. You will assist with installations of plant systems, production equipment, and related system components. This position is full time and works 4 days 10 hour shifts. Shifts can be Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.SMWE is a collection of distinctive wine estates and maker of some of the finest wines in the world because we value our vineyards and the art of winemaking. Perform preventative maintenance work, inspections, and unplanned repairs in accordance with established internal safety procedures/protocols, OSHA standards, GMPs, FDA regulations and industry best practices.Install and align motors, gear boxes, pumps, and other mechanical systems.Use diagnostic tools such as VOM, AMP meters, and other test equipment needed for preventative maintenance of equipment.Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) System JDE, including creating work orders, documenting work performed, and creating follow-up work for corrective repairs.Read blueprints, parts diagrams, and process control diagrams for troubleshooting and machine repair.Perform calculations related to volumes, square feet, flow rates, and thermal loads.Follow company safety and GMP procedures and policies.Work cooperatively and collaboratively with others in a team environment.Perform other duties as assigned, which may require tasks of lesser-skilled technicians.Position Requirements:

Technical school course work is preferred.2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, winery, food processing/packaging facility, or similar environment involving the responsibilities outlined above.Working knowledge and experience with VFDs, electrical motors, process controls (PLCs), lighting, alarm systems, fire systems, intercoms, and network wiring instrument calibrations.Welding and fabrication knowledge and experience, including MIG, TIG, STICK, and gas welding processes for stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.Ability to walk, stand, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb, twist, push and pull heavy objects, and work at heights with fall protection equipment.Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to work extended hours during peak periods, including periodic shift work in various temperature climates (indoors and outdoors).Ability to read and write in English and understand various schematic drawings/instructions.Ability to work independently while maintaining positive working relationships in a team environment.History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.Your Compensation:

$26.50 - $34.46/hr based upon relevant experience. At Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, we believe in paying our employees equal pay for equal work.
