If you are results driven and looking for a rapidly growing company with high growth and earnings potential, we want to hear from you!Job Description Summary:The Regional Maintenance Manager is pivotal in managing the fleet to uphold deliveries and distributions on schedule within an established budget. This role necessitates comprehensive experience and proficiency in fleet maintenance involving Class 8 Trucks and Van Trailers, mechanical systems, and various software programs to monitor both fleets and drivers. This role will necessitate travel to all locations in the Road Runner Freight system, collaborating extensively with a variety of operational roles, vendors, and drivers, aiming to optimize fleet performance and adherence to compliance standards.Critical Job Functions:Develop and implement maintenance program processes and policies for all dedicated regional Roadrunner terminals that exceed federal compliance guidelines.Perform field maintenance audits and review findings with terminal managers.Provide training and support to field personnel.Inspect equipment and audit vendors/vendor repairs.Address Building Maintenance Exceptions and support CSA improvement initiatives.Identify unnecessary costs and collaborate with respective departments for cost controls.Generate reports for improvement by location and create/maintain SWI’s.Collaborate on special projects initiated by any of the Executive Team Members.Engage in cross-functional communication to ensure a ‘one-team’ approach.Support field with parts procurement.Interact with the breakdown team and support the Safety Team Initiatives.Communicate internally and externally with terminals operating segments, customers, vendors, and other business associates, emphasizing strong written and verbal communication skills.Job Requirements:Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school preferred; a minimum of 7 years related work experience.Minimum of 7 years’ experience in fleet maintenance, mechanical systems, and cost analysis, including at least five years of leadership with progressing responsibilities.Five years or more of management experience, preferably in program implementation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PPT.Understanding of maintenance support software (examples: M5, TMT, Dossier, etc.) is required.Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and be detail-oriented and well-organized.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, CARB, and other governing regulations and requirements.Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.Some travel required; 25% of time.Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
