Strategic Communications SpecialistKey Role:Provide a range of executive support from development and implementation of external communications and marketing strategies to workforce event planning for workshops and forums, talking points, video scripts, action tracking, and providing input on other client initiatives. Manage corporate communications ensuring workforce awareness of organizational programs, initiatives, requirements, training, and other opportunities. Facilitate two-way communications between workforce and leadership. Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with senior level clients, outside of and within the organization to address issues that span multiple mission or program areas. Analyze and interpret issues and propose alternative solutions. Consult with necessary stakeholders regarding issues, possible solutions and implementation of alternatives. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment.Basic Qualifications:2+ years of experience with communicationsExperience developing clear and compelling messages to engage and inform employeesExperience developing executive-level PowerPoint briefingsExperience with meeting and event planning and executionExperience managing and maintaining internal website content with SharePoint, drafting executive-level presentations, talking points, and written communication productsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite Applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superior quality products and supportTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:Experience working as a government consultant providing senior executive-level supportExperience supporting the Intelligence Community or Department of DefenseExperience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesignAbility to display high standards and be committed to delivering superior communications products and creative communication solutions to meet client requirementsPossession of exceptional organizational skillsPossession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including command of grammar, proofreading, and editing techniquesBachelor's degree in Communications or a related field preferredClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
