The Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy will be tasked with supporting enterprise leadership in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects that advance McKesson's competitive position in support of the enterprise while contributing to our purpose of Advancing Health Outcomes for All.In this challenging and highly visible role, this individual will support corporate level strategic decision-making by completing projects related to market analysis, emerging industry trends, and the identification of strategic needs as it relates to the pursuit of building new and strengthening existing business endeavors.This role reports directly to the Vice President, Enterprise Strategy and Operations.What You’ll DoDevelop and manage deliverables, work plans, and timelines, with an ability to work on narrow timelinesQuickly build expertise and insights about industry trends and stakeholders that can inform business leaders’ perspectives and actionsMaintain thorough knowledge of company's products and industry-related developmentsCreate analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses in support of delivering high-impact strategic projectsApply strategic and analytical thinking to synthesize market data and deliver business insightsManage discrete threads of work independently and deliver high-quality work productComplete macro-economic, general industry, and competitive insights research as neededLeverage presentations to develop a storyline and POV, while influencing and driving conviction that a given strategy makes sense among key McKesson executive leadersWork within established framework to facilitate business problem solving and present hypotheses and recommendations to senior managementWork through ambiguity and put structure around problems/tasks with limited guidanceWhat We’re Looking For4-+ years of prior strategy consulting, healthcare consulting, startup, and/or relevant industry experiencePrior experience in healthcare preferredMust have 4-year Bachelor's degree, or related field or equivalent experienceMBA or other relevant master’s degree preferredSpecialized Knowledge and SkillsHealthcare Knowledge : general knowledge and expertise in healthcare industryStrategic Thinking : evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications, and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunitiesAnalytical Rigor : ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesize insights from analysis and ensure credible, actionable recommendationsFinancial Acumen : understanding and competency in financial analysisCommunications Skills : ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and present complex information in an easy-to-understand, persuasive mannerWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
