NSU Health Temporary Patient Management CoordinatorEssential Job Functions:Oversees day-to-day clinic operations to ensure smooth operations.Manages student's/resident's patient flow to ensure curriculum needs are met.Schedules patient appointments to ensure smooth patient flow and business operations.Responsible for fee collection and payment plans, ensuring that the patient accounts are paid on a timely basis.Enters/reviews/monitors data and/or accounts in clinical information systems and other NSU specific systems to ensure accurate processing and recordkeeping.Monitors student's/resident's patient queue to ensure patients receive timely follow-up care.Responds to internal (NSU) and external inquiries and resolves problems requiring broad understanding of policies and procedures to ensure questions are answered and issues resolved timely.May be required to work various shifts including evening.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; data entry skills; Internet research abilities.Knowledge of office practices and procedures (e.g., filing, answering telephones, and supply/equipment ordering).Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Ability to maintain confidential information.Organization and time management skills.Proactive, punctual and reliable.Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability and willingness to provide coverage in other areas/facilities.Required Education:

High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Experience:

High School Diploma and minimum two (2) years of related experience or Associate's Degree and one (1) year of related experience.Preferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree.One (1) year of experience as a Patient Access Representative.Two (2) years working in a dental environment.Experience with Electronic Medical Record system.Multi-lingual.Background Screening Required?
