Senior Project Manager

with experience in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).The successful candidate would leverage their regulatory expertise and management experience to lead diverse projects for clients in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. (Ask your recruiter for more details!)What you will do:Manage NEPA transportation projects that involve a wide range of technical field studies, analyses, and regulatory and permitting tasks.Prepare proposals and support marketing efforts with our prime engineers, potential candidates, and with TxDOT. This includes attending interviews for competitive solicitations.Provide senior-level expertise and technical guidance on complex projects involving NEPA, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, federal and state laws, and agency consultations.Provide leadership to our Transportation team and help to mentor, train, and guide junior and mid-level staff.What you need to have (minimum qualifications):BS/BA in Biology, Natural Resource Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Planning or a similar field.12+ years of experience in environmental consulting with transportation focus or applicable fields (government and/or consulting).5+ years experience working at or for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).What we would like you to have (preferred qualifications):Experience managing or conducting studies for Federally-funded transportation projects, overseeing technical studies and providing regulatory guidance.Experience working with TxDOT, developing environmental and regulatory strategies and understanding SOPs and industry best-practices.TxDOT Pre-Certifications (specifically 2.14.1).Strong knowledge of environmental consulting practices and environmental laws.Experience working with clients and common project management tools.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train teams of technical specialists.Ability to develop and present solutions to complex problems to clients and regulators.Business-minded with an eye towards client engagement and market growth.Strong technical writing skills and ability to review, QA/QC, and provide feedback to technical staff.This is an outstanding opportunity to work with talented and passionate individuals and to grow with a firm that believes in nurturing talent and developing long-term career success.ICF’s purpose is to build a more prosperous and resilient world for all. - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$105,353.00 - $179,101.00 Texas Remote Office (TX99)
