Commercial Card Product Manager

This position is responsible for the overall product design, development and ongoing management of the commercial card product and related programs, including business credit card and integrated payables. Responsible for continued development and growth of the products to be best in class and to increase sales, usage, and overall performance to maximize profitability and meet strategic business objectives. The position interfaces with various internal departments to manage all aspects of product delivery including Bank Operations, customer service support groups, Treasury Management Sales, Business/Commercial Relationship Management staff, Marketing, Commercial Services and the Credit Card Services team.

Responsibilities:Manage commercial card portfolio metrics to achieve revenue and profitability goalsManage commercial card rewards and rebate incentive programs, and related benefits and riskSupport the Treasury Management Sales team by participating in joint calls to prospects and customersIdentify and assess financial and operational risk, and develop solutions to minimize risk exposure for both the Bank and customersDevelop strategies to introduce new services and enhancements as technological changes are introduced in the marketBuild and manage commercial card marketing sales and usage strategies and incentives to achieve projected resultsWork with internal personnel on necessary reporting and analyticsAnalyze portfolio performance for sales, interchange income and non-interest income and recommend performance improvement strategiesCommunicate directly with Credit Card Services, Commercial Services and vendors to manage program, coordinate timely implementations, and achieve desired resultsEnsure all banking and card industry regulatory and compliance requirements of commercial and purchasing card services are metMaintain an in depth knowledge of card issuing industry including market trends, new payment products and customer service initiativesConduct regular review on market trends and competitors to identify opportunitiesRecommend strategies and goals for the marketing of assigned products and services including pricing, market direction, product packaging and targeted marketing promotionsWork with marketing and sales personnel to identify and provide the necessary collateral materials to support marketing efforts through all delivery channels including online and in personMaintain a strategic plan to provide product training and support as needed to achieve Bank needs and objectivesCommunicate product information, changes and enhancements across all customer contact areas within the BankInteract with outside third-party vendors to coordinate quality product delivery to customers as neededPerform other job related duties and special projects as assignedWork with Accounts Payable to develop Bank's internal AP program and move Bank vendors to card paymentsWork with Card Services, Accounts Payable and Human Resources to manage Bank's internal Commercial Card employee program

Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and a minimum 3 years' experience related to bank, Treasury Management Services and/or commercial card products is requiredCertified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) certification preferredAdvanced organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are requiredProduct management and/or project management experience preferredBank marketing and/or sales experience preferredStrong personal computing skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office requiredOutstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills requiredDetail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and ability to work independently without supervision requiredAbility to travel as necessary to perform essential job responsibilities required
