while earning a competitive wage.This is a full-time, hourly position working Saturday through Wednesday from 2 pm to 10 pm. On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, you'll work at our Hillcrest facility in Agoura Hills. On Wednesday and Saturday, you'll work at Beachside in Malibu. Pay begins at $21 per hour, based on your experience.Your QualificationsA high school diploma or GED.1+ years of experience in the social services field (group home, childcare, medical assistant, etc.). We may also consider candidates with college coursework in psychology, social science, or similar.A genuine desire to work with adolescents.An understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for mental health disorders with co-occurring substance abuse issues.Knowledge of regulations concerning mental health treatment.Working knowledge of substance abuse, mental health disorders, and treatment procedures for such illnesses.Good judgment, a positive attitude, dependability, and confidentiality.First aid and CPR certification.Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, and MS Word.Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.This position requires a valid California driver’s license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards. In addition, you must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, live scan, physical, and TB test to work at the facility.Note: Research shows that women and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds often apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications.
