Job Summary:Join Bay-CSS residential program in Gambrills, MD as a Direct Support Professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $21/hr. with an additional $2 weekend differential. As a dedicated Direct Support Professional, you will work Thursday 11pm - 9am, Friday 3pm-11pm and 11pm - 7am, and Saturday 11pm - 7am, providing vital support and care.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a direct support role preferred- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance- Ability to lift at least 50lbs- Successful completion of a background check- Commitment to attending and passing required trainings- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
Responsibilities:- Offer direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting- Assist individuals with daily tasks, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities- Promote independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure the highest quality of care
Training:Paid training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge for this role.
