The Product Manager position is responsible for complete product lifecycle management of the Spa division. The position identifies opportunities for enhancement to products based on market needs, customer requirements, user feedback and technical capability. The product manager acts as the primary point of contact for all product-line related activities – working with engineering, sales, marketing, finance, operations, supply chain and customer service. Of primary importance is the ability to lead and own the strategic development of product lines in terms of innovation and technology, and the subsequent delivery of all workstreams related to product activity.Role

The Product Manager is the key liaison between Engineering and Sales with a leadership role in the development of product road map strategies for growth and profitability. Additionally, you will:Ensure the smooth transition of the product portfolio to meet customer needs and manage company inventory in close coordination with supply chain and sales.Develop product strategy to drive standardization but capitalize on customization.Oversee coordination of all product development responsibilities for the spa division.Define and manage a 3-5 year forward looking product roadmap.Establish key customer insights and represent the Voice of the Customer, utilizing qualitative and quantitative research. Provide guidance and direction to Engineering to maximize customer value.Actively participate in monthly S&OP forecasting processes. Assist cross-functional partners in development and adjustment of relevant demand forecasts based on market dynamics.Lead the development of New Product launch plans through sales and marketing resource alignment.Analyze sales data, market share, pricing, costs, and profit for regular reporting and to identify trends, strategies, and tactics. Set pricing and manage costs to meet revenue and profitability goals.Be an expert in the market relative to the competition, category trends, and share position.Create business plans and product development documents as required.Manage engineering change requirements as needed.Strong presentation skills required including creation of PowerPoint or other related content, to influence internal and external stakeholders.Assist Brand & Communications team with development of literature, product catalogs, collateral materials, technical writing, copy editing, etc. to support marketing of respective products.Brief and train Sales, Training, Customer Service, and Service personnel within the organization.Support related tradeshows, customer events, sales meetings.Other duties as assigned.What We Seek

7+ years of work experience in a product development role.Product development experience in hydraulic, plumbing, construction, automotive, commercial mechanical, or water treatment markets is highly desirable.Highly analytical.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Preferred

Experience with an OEM customer base.Experience with any of the following would accelerate on-boarding:Spa (inground or portable) components and equipmentResidential swimming pool equipmentPlumbing equipment, PVC and plastic injection molded partsWater treatment or filtrationEDUCATION

BS degree in Marketing or another related field.What We Offer
