Job DescriptionThe Strategy and Transformation Lead role with TechOps Airline Servicing plays a crucial role within the TechOps teams, serving as the primary point of contact for all airline licensing assets and order management. This position emphasizes customer management and order fulfillment, requiring close collaboration with the internal TechOps teams, NBCU Airline Licensing team, external servicing vendor and Studio distribution. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and error free order fulfillment, coordinating with various teams for asset requests and content versioning and addressing technical issues that may arise in mastering, distribution, servicing, and delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish, build, and maintain relationships with third party Content Service Providers (CSPs) and Airline partners to ensure timely asset delivery in compliance with existing policies.

Manage all airline licensing operations workflow and assign tasks to external vendor account managers.

Request all New release title assets in correct formats and ensure availability for servicing in time for title release.

Research asset availability using internal systems.

Communicate with CSPs/Airlines regarding technical questions/asset availability (closed caption, sub/dub availability).

Set priorities according to daily work schedule and agreed-upon production schedules.

Proactively escalate any issues or changes to title assets at risk of missing delivery deadlines to TechOps team and the Airline Licensing team.

Monitor resolution/delivery and maintain communications with CSPs/Airlines.

Notify internal stakeholders of any vendor/client workflow changes, onboarding requests for new providers, delivery delays and programming changes.

Create purchase orders (estimated and final costs) and request POs from clients, ensuring the correct application of pricing to orders where necessary.

Provide day-to-day servicing support to NBCUniversal clients and deliver prompt, professional solutions for client inquiries.

Ensure team follows airline servicing best practices and proactively adopts spec changes as appropriate.

Work with the TechOps team to effectively document all airline servicing processes, design, and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency.

Proactively solve problems and implement creative solutions to streamline order management and fulfillment process.

Set up screener accounts.

Cross train TechOps team members to ensure that knowledge and expertise is shared across the group.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent experience.

5+ years’ experience in digital media or broadcast/entertainment operations.

5+ years’ experience in client/account management or project management.

Proven experience in customer management and order management related roles.

Strong technical expertise to understand and address technical issues in mastering, distribution, and servicing processes.

Proven ability to design process from the ground up to support evolving business needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Must be highly organized and able to work independently within own process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Media/entertainment in the airline industry experience is strongly desired.

Hybrid:

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
