to oversee 3-4 chemical categories for North America.Responsibilities:Manage the raw materials spend (petrochemical, saturated paper, non-wovens) for the AmericasWork cross-functionally with other business unitsCreate and implement sourcing strategiesLead negotiations and help create and manage contractsConduct market research and ensure competitive pricing with supply partnersThe ideal candidate:Bachelor’s degree is required5+ years of experience sourcing raw materials (prefer chemicals)Experience with ERP systems – prefer JD EdwardsMy client, an industry leader, is offering a very generous compensation package including bonus and full relocation.
