Job DescriptionSorting Robotics Inc. is currently seeking an Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring our robotic systems at customer sites.Preferred:
Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.Responsibilities
Traveling to customer sites to install and configure robotic systemsPerforming system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionalityProviding training and technical support to customers on the operation and maintenance of the robotic systemsCollaborating with the engineering and support teams to resolve any technical issues encountered during installationsDocumenting installation procedures and creating installation reportsAssisting with the development of standard operating procedures for installation and maintenance activitiesTraveling up to 75% of the time, both domestically and internationallyWorking independently with minimal supervisionManaging project timelines and ensuring timely completion of installationsIf you have a strong technical background and enjoy working hands-on with cutting-edge robotic technology, we would love to hear from you!Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related fieldPrior experience in installation and maintenance of complex technical systemsStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsProficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsFlexibility to travel extensively, including overnight staysWork Location: On-siteWork Hours: VariesApplicants for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have proof of COVID-19 vaccination records.Benefits
