We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.*****THIS POSITION CAN BE REMOTELY BASED ANYWHERE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES*****Purpose:As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Power Networks team leading engineering projects for the design of substation facilities for voltages up to and including 765 kV. This includes new substations and switchyards, as well as modifications, additions, and upgrades to existing facilities. Our customers include large power utilities, IPPs, renewable energy developers, and data center developers.Responsible for:Technical management - Leading multiple substation design projects for multiple clients in accordance with Worley design standards, procedures and client requirementsAccount management - Serve as a focal point for key clients in the regionHSE Management - Ensure compliance with all HSE procedures and that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participantsClient Relationships - Identifying, documenting and communicating client requirements. Effectively manages multiple stakeholders and maintains/develops healthy client relationships throughout the project and post-completion.Commercial Management - effectively manages Worley/Client contractTime Management - Manages the planning of all scope elements of the project. Develops resource and financial requirements from the project plan.Cost Control - Planning and preparing accurate project estimates. Establishes cost reports for control of projects.Quality Management - Defining the project quality requirements. Ensures compliance with Worley policies and procedures.Team Management - Providing clear and focused leadership for the project team.Communications Management - Ensuring accurate and timely progress reporting to the client and internally to Worley management.Risk Management - Identifying project risks and opportunities.What you will bring:Technical and Industry Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in substation designHighly effective technical and practical engineering skillsA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirementsAbility to formulate project scope documents, establish budgets, estimate project costs, and create and maintain schedulesCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office SuiteLeading and supporting multi-discipline teams on substation projectsSubstantial technical and practical experience in electrical engineeringWillingness to travel occasionally to client sites or conferencesStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:Required:4 or 5 year Bachelor degree in Electrical EngineeringPreferred:Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States, PMP or willingness to apply for licenseMoving forward togetherWe're committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong.
