Join the maintenance team enabling the smooth running of WEC's Headquarters in Pennsylvania, where our community of WEC staff, applicants, and returning missionaries live and serve.Assist the Maintenance Director and his team to upkeep and maintain many buildings and 20 acres of grounds, plus vehicles and swimming pool.You will be expected to take part in general building maintenance, upgrades and renovations, decorating, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, operating large equipment, vehicle mechanics, landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal.Qualities & Gifts Sought
You are able to be flexible and switch between multiple projects in the same day as needed. You have adequate training and/or experience in a variety of practical trades, particularly building maintenance, to bring a significant contribution to the maintenance team.On-the-job training is available for individuals with aptitude in other areas where this is lacking. Ideally, you are able to manage short-term voluntary workers.You will be expected to live on site and participate in all community activities including Christian worship and prayer.A solid Christian faith will help you to respect and model the values demonstrated in the community.Commitment TypeLong term - You need to be committed to serve 2 years or longer, in order to achieve more effective ministry, and be willing to undergo adequate training as appropriate.LocationFort WashingtonPennsylvaniaUnited StatesTo inquire about a WEC opportunity we require some personal information from you.
