Summary:

Responsible for introducing customers to their new cars and reviewing the features of each vehicle. Responsible for delivering the vehicle to the customer according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

Coordinates delivery with customerObserves that the vehicle is detailed, full of fuel, has all requested accessories installed, and is in the delivery area ready for the customerDemonstrates interior and exterior vehicle features and personalizes the delivery to the customer’s needsCommunicates the benefits of owning the vehicle purchased as well as the dealership services and amenitiesExplains warranties and all documentsCompletes necessary customer registration according to manufacturer guidelinesFamiliarizes customer with Service department personnel and Service areasPresents keys and relevant documents to the customerWorks closely with department managers to ensure customer satisfactionMaintains CSI at or above Company standardsMaintains an organized, clean, and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping systemFollows Safeguards rules and regulationsDemonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of dutiesOther duties as assigned

Valid Driver’s Licenseo Automobile Salesperson License

Computer Skills:

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Strong ability to understand and demonstrate technology to customers.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed throughout the dealership but mainly in the Sales showroom. Heavy standing work. Work includes frequent clerical and administrative responsibilities in addition to frequent contact and interaction with customers and dealership personnel. Work includes movement around dealership facilities, indoors and outdoors. Due to the nature of this position, employee may be exposed to various work environments.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
