As an Associate Controls Specialist (ACS), you'll play a crucial role in the installation, commissioning, and service of our cutting-edge products, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of naval power technology. With the guidance of experienced senior specialists, you'll develop your skills and build a rewarding career.Key Responsibilities:Conduct installation, testing, and troubleshooting services for controls systems on FMD engine lines under senior specialist guidance.Perform work at high level of quality, in accordance with tech manuals and OJT.Accurate and timely reporting, and thorough documentation of your work and inspections.Provide customer support; act as an FMD ambassador of customer satisfaction.You must have:High School Diploma or GED and either an associate degree in a technical discipline or three years of military or industry experience in one or more similar or equivalent product lines serviced by FMD.Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and short-notice emergency situations (domestic and international).Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.Basic knowledge of pneumatic, PLC, and electronic engine controls; Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC, HMI programming, and automation system diagnosis.Proficiency in English (verbal and written).Valid driver’s license.Apply now and take the first step toward an exciting and rewarding career with us!Fairbanks Morse offers a competitive benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance and 401k retirement plan with employer match.
