With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.Our team is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer II to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an on-site work structure in Chatsworth, CA.To be considered for the Supplier Quality Engineer II opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, an ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM), or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace products and processes in a Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering role.Proficient experience in Quality Engineering principles, regulatory administration, and standards such as:

FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 14 Part 21AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000 Quality Management System standardsAS9102 First Article InspectionRoot Cause and Corrective Action Investigation methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Apollo Root Cause Analysis)Six Sigma, Lean, and Statistical Analysis tools (e.g., SPC, Pareto)

Mechanical inspection techniques, including Coordinated Measurement Machines (CMM)Familiarity with electronic/electrical inspection methods and acceptance criteriaAs a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will:Sustain high ethical standards in accordance with the company’s code of ethics and policies, including the ASQ code of ethics.Apply strategic and critical thinking to Quality Management Systems and product quality for both suppliers and the company.Review customer contracts, purchase orders, and supplier quality flow-down requirements.Communicate, lead, and coach internal departments regarding supplier quality activities and objectives.Manage the Approved Supplier List, including evaluating supplier surveys and change requests.Implement supplier quality procedures and maintain the Supplier Portal, performance metrics, and scorecards.Develop strategies in collaboration with Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, and Engineering to identify risks with current and potential suppliers.Conduct quality audits to assess technical/process capabilities for suppliers and recommend changes as needed.Manage supplier nonconformances, MRB activities, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence of product issues.Provide leadership, technical training, and mentoring for junior Supplier Quality Engineers.Assist inspection personnel with mechanical inspection techniques and product evaluation methods.Our Benefits:Comprehensive medical insuranceCompetitive PTO, holiday pay, and sick leaveCompany 401(k) plan with up to 4% matched contributionAnnual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance)Flexible working arrangementsPaid volunteering opportunitiesAccess to mental health champions across our sitesCommitment to developmentEmployee referral programCompensation Pay Range:
