Position Summary

:Provides maintenance and repairs to production machinery, computer systems, and facility.Key Duties / Responsibilities:Ensure proper operation of machines (Cheshire’s, Ink Jet Printers, and Alpha liners).Perform all maintenance activities in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.Replace and repair parts, rebuild equipment, and align gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory.Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.Respond in a timely manner to all red lights and maintenance requests on the production floor.Perform preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan.Record activities using the proper PM checklist sheets.Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up, machine and equipment clean-up, sweeping production floor after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.Perform activities to acquire detailed knowledge of equipment components to diagnose causes of electrical mechanical malfunctions or provide corrective maintenance.Participate in a maintenance training program to continuously improve knowledge, skills, and abilities. Develop skills in electrical or HVAC fields.Maintain compliance with changing OSHA regulations.Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary job duties.Qualifications

Education & Knowledge:High school diploma or general education certification preferred.Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred.Mechanical or electrical experience.Technical degree and/or equivalent experience.Powered Industrial Truck Certification.Experience / Skills / Abilities:1 year of related experience.Prior electro-mechanical experience.Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance.Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations.Able to identify and perform Level B & C equipment preventative maintenance.Communication & Contacts (Internal/External):Communicate with Plant personnel and leadership.Communicate with outside vendors, service, and maintenance providers.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:Walking, standing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. on a routine basis.Bending, stooping, and climbing.Additional Information

Hourly Pay Rate:

$17.40 - $29.90The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
