Aggregate Foreman
to work at our Menzer location in
Colorado Springs, CO.
The Aggregate Foreman will be responsible for daily quarry mining operations, which includes plant production, plant maintenance, recording data, scheduling, and problem-solving.
Salary:
$90-110k

Responsibilities
The Supervisor will:
Communicate mining activities to Aggregate Manager dailyManage equipment and plant maintenance procedures and costsPlant Production: keep inventory on the ground and in specMaintain the production plant to operate at its maximum and in safe conditionTask training for all employees for all tasksRecord Production and downtimeSchedule Production, Maintenance, Stripping, and BlastingEnsure Safety & Safety Policies for employeesPurchase parts and supplies neededMaintain and measure quality products and processesMonitor standards of product specifications for commercial and State applications
Qualifications (Skills, knowledge, experience):
Experience in mining, an industrial or construction settingExcellent people skills to successfully work with aggregate mining management, external customers, and operational personnelAbility to train, support, and coordinate personnel in a multi-function operationKnowledge of applicable MSHA safety and environmental regulations and ability to implement the appropriate related programs and controlsMechanical aptitude and a basic knowledge of quality control procedures
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or construction environment with supervisory experienceComputer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office productsAbility to understand financial dataAbility to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settingsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License
