ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
position.Location : Pacific University, 2043 College Way, Forest Grove, OR 97116.
Note: online applications accepted only.Schedule : Full Time; Monday through Friday 9am-6pm with some evenings and weekends based on business needs.Details : This is a private college that provides all you care to eat dining plans and DCB dining plans. High volume environment, fully branded Starbucks on campus, 2 Markets, and a scratch cooking café featured on Forest Grove Campus. Medium catering volume. The Assistant General Manager manages a team of 30, including students, and oversees markets and overall café operations. Starbucks hourly manager reports to this role. All other leadership positions in operation are filled and the team in place is exceptional.Requirements : Experience in a similar position, ability to multitask, exceptional customer service skills. Familiarity with meal plans and student dining would be beneficial. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, understand PNL, and be passionate about hospitality. Must be a great team player.Starting Pay:

As an Assistant General Manager I, you will be responsible for assisting with running the day-to-day food service operation of a medium to large volume location. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee quality controls for the account.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality.Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests, and client as well as other departments within the operation.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:2 to 4 years of food service management experience.Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.Comprehensive food knowledge.Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.Financial experience and business acumen skills.ServSafe Certification is preferred.Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.Associate’s degree is preferred.Associates at Bon Appétit are offered many fantastic benefits.Full-time and part-time positions offer the following benefits
